Chromoly pushrods offer far greater performance potential than stock. These MADE IN USA Heavy Duty chromoly pushrods weigh just 68 grams (uncut). We recommend these only for use with dual valve springs in most instances. For most single spring applications, use cut down stock VW pushrods, or HD aluminum ones to keep your valve train as light as possible.

These performance proven pushrods aredesigned to run with dual springs in the harshest conditions up to 7500 RPM's+ with the right matching components. If you need even heavier duty top-notch pushrods, use our Norris Super Duty Aluminum Pushrods for even less valve train weight and more horsepower, coupled with our Titanium Retainers and Super Light lifters.

Proven facts: A lighter valve train provides higher revs, allows lower spring pressures, gives better horsepower, and results in less wear. Norris Performance SUPER DUTY lightweight aluminum pushrods provide a lighter valvetrain, yet performance you can expect to hold up to 9000 RPMs and dual springs in even the most demanding of racing applications. Using aluminum pushrods, it will also make for a quieter valve train, so your performance motor doesn't have to make a racket. The pushrod ball ends are clearanced for the most high-lifting of cam/rocker combinations. They weigh just 52 grams (uncut), 25% lighter than our lightweight chromoly pushrods.
These are a perfect companion to our super lightweight titanium retainers, and 75 gram super light lifters.

Norris HD Chromoly Valve Spring Retainers - MADE IN USA
HD Chromoly Retainers are an excellent choice when running HD valve springs, and absolutely a must when running dual springs. The lightweight design has superior strength over stock retainers, without the added cost of the super duty titanium retainers. We'd recommend these up to about 7500 RPM's for most builds.

Norris Hardened Lash Caps - MADE IN USA
Lash caps are often needed to protect the end of the valve from mushrooming under high load and at high RPM's. They can also help set valve train geometry properly. With higher revving springs, longer valve travel, and/or "ramp style" ratio rockers, we recommend using lash caps.
